Welcome to Pluggable! To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, we ask all plugin developers/sellers to follow these guidelines before submitting their plugins.

1. Original Work Only

Submit only your own work. No copied or reused code from other authors unless you have proper rights or licenses. Using code from other sources without proper rights or licenses, either during the first submission or in future updates, can result in your plugin being removed from Pluggable.

2. Code Quality

Your plugin must follow WordPress coding standards. Clean, secure, and well-commented code is a must. Using complex or non-standard coding styles can make your plugin harder for users to understand and use. Always follow WordPress coding standards for better usability.

3. Detailed Descriptions

Provide a clear and honest description of what your plugin does, its key features, and supported versions. Writing a detailed, keyword-rich plugin description helps improve your visibility on search engines and makes it easier for potential customers to discover your plugin.

4. Accurate Pricing

Be transparent with your pricing. Clearly state what users will receive from each structure (basic vs. pro features, licenses, support terms, etc.).

5. Useful Screenshots & Demos

Include screenshots that highlight the plugin’s frontend and backend features. A working demo is highly recommended.

6. Proper Documentation

Every plugin must include easy-to-follow documentation. Detailed documentation helps users get started without confusion.

7. Ongoing Support

Offer timely and helpful support. If you can’t handle support by yourself, let our team know—we can help you manage it.

8. Regular Updates

Keep your plugins updated with the latest WordPress version to ensure proper functionality. Security patches and improvements are essential.

9. No Spam or Misleading Info

Do not mislead customers with exaggerated claims or false promises. Be honest about the capabilities (and shortcomings) of your plugin.

10. Respect Our Review Process

Every plugin is subject to a quick review process by our team. We might suggest edits to improve quality or clarity. Please be open to feedback.
